We are starting the 2011-12 season with 3 mens teams and 2 ladies teams, each team has at least 11 players and 2 subs.
This results in a single team sponsor reaching 13 players, word of mouth generally passes on through these players to 10 people each so this is 143 people reached (double this with supporting partners pitchside or at home).
Next on average each team plays 10 different opponents in a season so the above 143 people then becomes 1340 in half a season (with the second half of the season just to show them again)
Now imagine sponsoring all of our five of our teams that's 6,700 people reached!! Just in one season.

At Golborne we have several football teams, seniors and juniors as well as bowls, tennis and cricket so something as simple as banners at the club will reach a wide range of different people!
